Great sound is in the details

Takamine - over 50 years of quality, great sound, and playability

The Takamine Pro Series P2DC acoustic-electric guitar is the result of over a half-century of Takamine guitar-crafting knowhow. Launched in 1962 at the foot of Japan's Takamine mountains, Takamine has been designing and building acoustic guitars that are seen in the hands of some of music's biggest stars. With quality and value as guiding principles, Takamine's instruments employ the finest tonewoods, construction techniques, and technical innovations such as the proprietary CT4B preamp system found in this guitar.

Takamine's CT4B preamp system gives you natural amplified tone

The Pro Series P2DC sports Takamine's CT4B preamp, giving you rich, clear-sounding amplified output - instantly. A feature of Pro Series guitars, the CT4B features three-band EQ, a volume control and a built-in tuner. The preamp is switched on by plugging a standard instrument cable into the endpin/strap pin jack. Unplugging the cable turns the preamp off. The CT4B is powered by a single 9 volt battery.

Great setup on a beautiful guitar. These folks were excellent to deal with long before I made my decision on which guitar to buy. I asked quite a few questions and always got prompt responses. Would buy from them again for sure. I got the Wolf WLP 750T in black burst and it is a great-looking instrument.

Absolutely amazing setup. Attention to detail is like custom shop quality. The specs are crazy and the neck is the best feeling unbound neck I’ve ever played. Can’t say enough about how great the whole experience was, from ordering and getting a message from Jin (the owner) about 20 min later to talking setup specs. I will be ordering another guitar šŸŽø !

I have never had a store or manufacturer send me options for set up and do such an amazing job of setting up the guitar. It feels awesome. Wonderfully made. Top notch, first class. I bought the double cutaway too. Fantastic!

If you're dropping $1000+ on new Gibson's, you're wrong! This beautiful Axe from all in one is going to outperform even the highest end guitars. The customer service is AMAZING, the owners are AMAZING, and the prices are AMAZING. I will definitely be back. Thank you so much for everything!

To be honest, I wasn't expecting too much from this guitar given its low price, but I thought at least it would look cool hanging on my wall. Well, I was right about it looking cool, but it is also a really well-made and very playable guitar.
