One of Larrivee's Longest-standing Models
Part of Larrivee's Artist Series, the P-09 employs Jean Larrivee's original tonal recipe — the same one he perfected in the 1970s. This parlor-sized acoustic guitar is meticulously crafted from solid moon spruce and silver oak, yielding a tone that's guaranteed to exceed all expectations — and it's only available here at Sweetwater. You'll benefit from a genre-fluid sound that works well in a myriad of applications, courtesy of Jean's legendary X-brace design. The P-09's comfortable mahogany neck features an easy-playing ebony fingerboard, complete with a bone nut, compensated bone saddles, and top-of-the-line JCL 18:1 tuners. The Larrivee P-09 boasts high-end looks, thanks to gorgeous trim, multi-strip purfling, an abalone rosette, a tortoise pickguard, and a head-turning gloss finish.
